Larz Anderson Park is located in Brookline, MA and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Isabel Anderson left the estate to the Town of Brookline in 1948 and only a few years later the mansion became damaged beyond affordable repair and was torn down. Today the Carriage House and the “Temple of Love” on the shore of the water garden still remain on the landscape. Ray Dunetz worked on the project while at Walker Kluesing Design Group designing improvements to the historic landscape, wood perimeter fence, parking at the top of the hill, a landscape outline of the original mansion perimeter, renovated balustrade, a restored allée and sculptural benches and plantings.
